For cohorts continuing through the engineering pathway, a research agent is one capstone. Give it a question and a source collection, then build and test how it searches, evaluates evidence and produces a report.

What is free, what the workshops cover and what certification recognises.
What is included in AI literacy?
The foundations cover what AI can and cannot do, writing useful prompts, checking answers and handling information appropriately. Participants practise on documents, questions and decisions rather than only watching demonstrations.
Are the assessment and basic courses free?
Yes. The introductory AI literacy assessment and basic courses are planned as free learning offers. They are currently marked coming soon. Offline workshops and certificate programmes are separate engagements, with scope and fees confirmed in a proposal.
How does a 3-hour workshop differ from a 3-month programme?
A 3-hour workshop introduces the core concepts and a guided exercise. A longer programme adds repeated practice, assignments, feedback and an independent assessment. The proposal specifies contact hours, practice time and the skills to be assessed. Completing the full seven-level engineering pathway is a separate scope decision.
Do participants need coding experience?
No coding experience is needed for the AI literacy foundation. Participants should be able to use a browser and digital files; we discuss any support they need before delivery. The optional engineering pathway introduces APIs, configuration and code at the relevant levels.
What does the AI literacy certificate recognise?
Our certificate recognises the programme and skills demonstrated in its practical assessment. Learners must meet the agreed completion and passing criteria; attendance alone is not evidence of proficiency. It is a provider-issued certificate, not a government accreditation or university qualification.
Is the free assessment the certification exam?
No. The free assessment is intended to identify a learner’s starting point and learning gaps. Certification uses a separate practical assessment within an agreed programme, including independent task completion, verification and an explanation of the learner’s decisions.
Where do offline workshops take place?
We plan in-person delivery at the institution’s campus, office or training centre. Cohort size, facilitation, devices, connectivity, accounts and venue arrangements are confirmed before scheduling. A pilot can be followed by further cohorts across a network.
Can delivery support regional languages?
We agree the languages required for facilitation, explanations and supporting material during scoping. Participants can discuss concepts in their preferred language while learning the terms used in AI tools. Available language support is confirmed in the proposal.
How are institutional data and learner work handled?
Exercises use public sources, demonstration datasets or institution-approved material. We agree permitted data use before delivery, including what must not be entered into cloud tools. Provider terms and settings are considered alongside the institution’s policies.
How can an institution request a programme?
Share the audience, location, preferred languages, cohort size and time available through the enquiry form. We will scope the learning objectives, delivery, practice, assessment, fees and technology requirements in a proposal for your institution to review.
